UPDATE!

Wow! So much has happened and it goes by so fast its absolutely unbelievable. I have been living in New York now for 8 months and I guess right after my last post it really started to get real. Winter has come and gone, now it is Spring and it is so beautiful. Winter was relatively easy, still gets cold even when it is considered not bad. Had days where it was 17 degrees and some where it was 55. Living in New York is so unbelievable. It really seems like a dream to be here still. I walk around the city and new adventures, people and life just happens. My best friend said something while she was visiting and it is so true, She said " even when you are sitting at home, so much life is happening around you", New York does not stop for one minute!

Winters eve fest in Lincoln square

Art Journaling

I was told I needed to have a winter activity by a customer at my job. They said that is the only way you will survive winter here. I said well I hula hoop and the guy said that didn't count, I said ok how about ART journaling and he said that could work... well, it does. I know it is barely even what one could consider Winter. However, it is dark so early and some days are cold and rainy.... so I think the Winter feel is in the air. Luckily though, December will be fun regardless because of all the holiday festivities going on. But I am prepared and armed with a winter activity if I am kept indoors January....

The journal to the above is finished and I just purchased my second one below. Invest in a journal... it is such a great outlet and lots of fun tod and a great way to look back on memories.

The shelf in use ;)
